This Privacy Policy explains how Melody Yazılım LTD. handles personal data in Melodyia, our AI song and music maker application.

We place great importance on the privacy of our users to ensure they can fully and securely benefit from our platforms. We do not share personal data with third parties without the explicit consent of our users, and we only provide it to authorized authorities in accordance with legal requirements.

Users who continue to use Melody Yazılım LTD. products are deemed to have accepted the rules and procedures outlined in our Privacy Policy. They can withdraw their consent at any time by contacting us. Our Cookie Policy is an integral part of this Privacy Policy.

Processed Data

To provide our services and improve the quality, the following data is processed. Users are responsible for keeping their information complete and up to date:

• Identity Information: Identifying information such as first and last name
• Contact Information: Email address
• User Information: Membership number, public username and profile, and other related data
• Content You Provide: Text prompts, lyrics, titles and genres you enter; images and audio files you upload; cover images you set
• Content You Generate: Songs and other media created for you by AI, and whether you chose to publish them
• Location Information
• User Activity Information: Usage actions on the platform, such as plays, likes and searches
• Transaction Security Information: Security data such as IP address, device ID
• Purchase Information: Subscription and credit purchase records (payments are processed by Apple and Google; we never receive your card details)
• Marketing Information: Cookies, subscription details, targeting data
• Request/Complaint Information: User requests and feedback

Purposes of Data Use

Collected personal data is used for the following purposes:

• Keeping membership records and managing user accounts
• Generating the songs and media you request, and delivering them back to you
• Operating the Explore feed, including trending and featured content, likes and play counts
• Managing your credit balance, subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Responding to user requests and sending notifications
• Monitoring and improving system performance
• Providing services and fulfilling legal obligations
• Improving user experience, analysis, and marketing activities
• Customizing services and conducting promotional activities based on user preferences

AI Generation and Published Content

To generate a song, the prompt, image or audio file you submit is sent to our AI service providers for processing. These providers act on our behalf and are bound by contract.

Your generations are private by default. If you choose to publish a song, that song — together with its title, cover image and your public username — becomes visible to other users in the Explore section. You can unpublish or delete your content at any time from within the app.

You are responsible for the content you submit and publish. Do not upload material you do not have the rights to, and do not attempt to imitate a real person's voice or likeness without their permission.

Access to Data

Personal data is not shared with third parties for marketing or sales purposes, except for legal obligations. However, limited data sharing may occur with contracted business partners (e.g., AI generation providers, email providers, hosting and storage services, analytics and advertising providers, app stores, law firms) for service provision. This sharing is secured by contracts.

Data Retention Period

Personal data is stored for as long as necessary to achieve the stated purposes. In the case of potential legal disputes, data may be retained within the statutory limitation periods.

Data Security

Melody Yazılım LTD. is committed to taking technical and administrative measures to prevent the illegal processing of personal data and unauthorized access.

Our platform may contain links to third-party applications. However, we do not accept responsibility for the privacy policies of these applications.

Children

Melodyia is not directed at children under the age required by the app store in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

User Rights

Users have the following rights under the Personal Data Protection Law:

• Learn whether their personal data is being processed
• Request information about processed data
• Inquire about the purpose of data processing and whether it is being used correctly
• Learn who the data is transferred to, domestically and abroad
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Request the deletion or destruction of data when the purpose of processing is no longer applicable
• Object to a result that occurs due to automated systems analysis that negatively affects them
• Request compensation for damages suffered due to unlawful data processing

These rights are fulfilled within 30 days when requested by users using appropriate methods. No fee is charged for the processes, but a fee may be applied according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account instantly from Profile > Delete Account in the app, or request deletion by email. See our Account Deletion page for details.

Updating Personal Data

Users can update their personal information by logging into their account or by creating a support request through the MY ACCOUNT > CONTACT > MAIL section.
